Former Vice President Manufacturing, Silanna Semiconductor; CEO & Director, Sapphicon Semiconductor; Managing Director and Company Secretary, Peregrine Semiconductor Australia; and Director & CFO Quality Semiconductor Australia and GM of AWA MicroElectronics. Extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing, technology development, commercialisation, strategic planning, finance and corporate governance. Author or co-author of 37 technical papers and holder/co-holder of six patents.

Elaine is an award winning businesswoman, audiologist, academic, adjunct professor in the faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology, Swinburne University and a member of its Masters in Entrepreneurship Advisory Board. He is an advisor to multiple start-up companies in photonics within Australia and overseas.

Chris has over 30 years’ worth of experience working with industry, government and universities in Australia and overseas. As COO, Chris plays a vital role in enabling ANFF to translate Australian R&D into impactful outcomes. He works with the ANFF teams across the country to ensure consistent and cohesive service offering to clients, as well as ensuring the network delivers on its reporting requirements. He advises the Board as Company Secretary.
