Polishing, grinding, lapping and or abrading is the process of removing material from a surface by rubbing it with an abrasive agent. It can be used to smooth, shape, or finish a material surface, depending on the type and size of the abrasive agent and the applied pressure and speed.

Semi-automatic CMP system for the polishing and the planarization of wafers. The system is equipped with holders for 2"" and 4"" wafers with compatibility of up to 8” wafers. The tool is equipped with 4 pumps for slurry delivery and an in-build conditioning system. Available slurries: Ultra Sol 7A - basic slurry made of colloidal SiO2 particles for dielectric polishing.
