Tensile Testing

Tensile testing is a method of measuring the mechanical properties of a material under tension. It involves applying a gradually increasing force to a specimen and recording the deformation and failure behaviour. Tensile testing can provide information such as yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, ductility, and fracture toughness of a material.
