Yarn Processing

Yarn processing involves applying various methods to alter the properties of yarns. Some common yarn processing techniques are twisting, which adds torsion to the yarns to increase their cohesion and durability, and covering, which wraps a filament around a core yarn to create a composite yarn with different characteristics.
