Dr Jeremy Dinoro
Additive Biofabrication Scientist
Jeremy graduated with Bachelor of Science (Medical Biotechnology) and Master of Philosophy (Biofabrication) from the University of Wollongong (UOW), followed by a Master of Science at Utrecht University. He completed an industry-funded PhD in 3D printed implants through a joint program between the UOW and Anatomics (Melbourne-based Medical Devices company), at the Intelligent Polymer Research Institute (IPRI) within the Australian Institute for Innovative Materials (AIIM) at Wollongong University's Innovation campus. His main focuses have been tissue engineering skin, cartilage, muscle, liver and bone. Throughout his studies he also worked as a business consultant and business manager, as well as a pharmacy technician, he also holds a certificate III in pathology. Following his PhD he worked in within the Integrated Prosthetics Group at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, where he developed novel biomaterials for stimulate bone growth. Currently he is the Additive Biofabrication Scientist at the ANFF Materials Node, where he assists researchers and industry in bioprinting and tissue engineering.
