Dr. Lauren Hyde brings extensive technical expertise to the University of Melbourne’s Materials Characterisation & Fabrication Platform (MCFP) and the Victorian node of ANFF. Her background includes roles as a beamline scientist at the Australian Synchrotron and manager of the Vibrational Spectroscopy facility at the University of Sydney. A specialist in surface chemistry and topography, Lauren is an expert in infrared, Raman, and electron microscopy (SEM/AFM), using her scientific foundation to manage complex suites of high-end research instrumentation.
