Denny previously worked for research institutions in Taiwan, where he was responsible for coordinating and advancing the process of innovative medical device design as well as developing technology solutions. He has participated in all stages of the innovative medical device research and development process, from project initiation to technology transfer and patent application.

Withford

Michael is the current Node director of the Optofab node and co-founder and CEO of start-up Modular Photonics, and a CSIRO ON alumni. Modular Photonics, a spin out from Macquarie University, manufactures award winning glass-microchip devices that increase data transmission rates and reach in legacy public and enterprise optical fibre networks.

Vaughan

Ben is the Facility Manager for the Materials Node hub at the University of Newcastle, based at the Newcastle Institute for Energy and Resources (NIER). He is a primary operator of the functional printing facility located at NIER.

Uddin

Hemayet provides technical support and integration to ARC Centre of Excellence, and provides grant application support, in addition to managing a number of nanolithography and characterisation instruments

Teodosio

JP handles the photolithography tools, 3D scanner and 3D printers. He also supports operations on the dicing saw, direct mask writer, and the PDMS laboratory.
