For 15 years, Diraq has worked with ANFF‑NSW to fabricate the qubit technology at the heart of its approach to quantum computing – a long‑running collaboration now highlighted in a case study video released by the NSW Office for the Chief Scientist and Engineer.
The video highlights how sustained access to specialist fabrication capability and staff expertise can push quantum research beyond the laboratory and into repeatable device fabrication and scalable development.
ANFF‑NSW provides open‑access micro‑ and nanofabrication facilities, training and technical support that enable teams to prototype, refine processes and improve device performance across many fabrication cycles. Diraq has drawn on that capability to progress its qubit fabrication over time and to shorten a pathway from research results to manufacturable quantum devices.
The NSW Office for the Chief Scientist and Engineer have released the video as part of a broader series on NSW research infrastructure and the outcomes that follow from long‑term collaboration and shared capability.
ANFF‑NSW thanks the NSW Office for the Chief Scientist and Engineer for featuring the partnership and acknowledges NSW Government support, including through the NCRIS Support Program, which helps sustain the equipment and expertise that underpin outcomes like these.
