ANFF Welcomes Rehana Adcock as RIC Events Coordinator
Building on the success of the ANFF Client Engagement Facilitators, who have guided clients in leveraging ANFF’s support, the ANFF NCRIS Concierge Project has driven the expansion of personalised services across the entire National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy network. This growth led to the launch of Research Infrastructure Connected (RIC), a network-wide initiative to enhance support for academic, government and industry clients.
ANFF and RIC are delighted to announce Ms Rehana Adcock as the new RIC Events Coordinator.
In her new role, Rehana will be responsible for coordinating NCRIS promotional events, providing expert event support to ANFF and other NCRIS Providers, and contributing to the development of marketing collateral and event promotion for RIC.
‘I’m very grateful to be working with such an amazing, kind and supportive team. Everyone has been extremely generous with their knowledge and time whilst I’ve been getting settled into my new role,’ says Ms Adcock.
Rehana brings with her extensive experience in event management across both public and private sectors. She began her career in the film and television industry as a coordinator before transitioning into event management. During her time working for Business Chamber Queensland, Rehana played a key role in fostering industry-government-university relationships, bringing parties together to benefit from greater understanding and collaboration.
NCRIS Concierge Project Manager Anita Gibson expressed her enthusiasm for Rehana’s addition to the team: ‘I’m thrilled to have Rehana on the RIC team. Her particular blend of experience as an industry–government liaison and event manager – as well as her friendly, team-oriented attitude – is exactly what we need to create engaging events across NCRIS to excite our many stakeholders.’
Please join us in welcoming Rehana Adcock to the ANFF team. We’re confident that her expertise will significantly contribute to advancing RIC’s mission to make the incredible services of NCRIS more accessible to all.
