The Micro Nano Research Facility (MNRF) at RMIT is seeking to appoint a Technologist – Thin Film & Plasma Processing to support the (MNRF), providing specialist technical expertise across thin film deposition, plasma processing and advanced research infrastructure. Working closely with researchers, students, industry partners and technical colleagues, you will help deliver high-quality facility services that support research, teaching and industry engagement activities.
Reporting to the Technical Coordinator, you will contribute to the day-to-day operation of specialist laboratories and equipment, provide user training and technical support, and help maintain a safe, efficient and collaborative research environment. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of facility capabilities, processes and services.
Job Details:
- Full-time (100%), continuing position
- Base salary HEW 7 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 7)
- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
