Congratulations to our Gate 1 recipient, NeoDuoFlo^®, the brainchild of Franki Coulthurst, an experienced neonatal intensive care nurse looking after the tiniest but mightiest members of our society. Franki has invented a new multipurpose device concept, designed to address a common problem in pre-term infants, where the same pressure that helps them breathe also forces air into their tiny stomach — adding a significant complication to an already difficult time. NeoDuoFlo will use this investment to plot out their path to commercialisation.
