Luis has worked in commercial research and development for over 30 years and has spent over half of that time in various management roles, including intellectual property. He is named as an inventor in over 65 international patents including 8 United States patents. Luis is currently the facility manager of the Optofab Adelaide Hub of the ANFF and laboratory manager at the Institute for Photonics & Advanced Sensing (IPAS), both at The University of Adelaide.
